A very nice example of a small Antique, Ancient ROMAN Pottery Shipping Jar (Amphora), circa. AD 250. Recovered from a Roman shipwreck sunk off the Northern shore of Israel in the late 3rd. century. It has been cleaned but still retains alot of the marine growth. A rare intact artifact seldom available.
